Adam Reinsfield oversees the close-knit TW Events & Incentives team, the newest standalone arm of southern tourism hub Transport World. His nomination highlights the deep south's growing reputation for excellence in the events industry.
He is one of just three finalists in the Venue Executive of the Year category at this year’s Entertainment Venues Association of New Zealand (EVANZ) Awards 2019.
Reinsfield, who had more than a decade of experience in the events and incentives industry before joining the Invercargill-based hub in April 2017 in a maternity cover position, says he is humbled to have made the shortlist of finalists.
“I’m part of a small, tightly-knit team and there is just no way TW Events & Incentives could continue to celebrate wins without everybody working hard, all the time, to exceed our clients’ expectations,” he says.
“Being named a finalist alongside some of the most well-respected names in the events business is genuinely an honour, and recognition of the hard yards put in by the entire TW Events & Incentives team.”
Transport World executive director Joc O’Donnell says Adam is a tremendous asset to TW Events & Incentives.
“Adam is a consummate professional and his leadership filters down into every aspect of his team’s performance,” she says. “He is a key driver in Invercargill’s growing reputation as an events destination with a difference, and to see him recognised at a national level for his excellence within the industry is fantastic. We are incredibly proud of him, and feel lucky to have him as part of our team.”
The annual EVANZ Awards recognise and reward the success of venues while also acknowledging the contribution of individuals in great leadership and operational management roles and identifying the stars of the future.
Winners of the EVANZ Awards 2019 will be announced at a gala dinner on 26 November at Christchurch Town Hall.
